Aqib Talib Suspended 4 Games

Starting CB Aqib Talib has been suspended for 4 games after testing positive for a banned substance by the NFL.  The substance was adderall which is more commonly used by college students studying for finals.  This is bad news for Tampa Bay, but should not be the least bit surprising.  Although an extremely talented on the field, he has never been able to stay straight off the field.  He is starting to rival Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones for off-field controversies.  The Bucs already had one of the worst passing defenses in the league, this should only make things worse.  He is not expected to appeal, so his suspension will start tomorrow against the Chiefs.  KC has a pitiful passing attack, so it may take another week before we see a huge impact.  This may also near the end of the road for Talib in Tampa.  Schiano isn’t likely to take much more of his problems, and Tampa isn’t one player away from being a playoff team.

In other news Peyton Hillis and Glenn Dorsey are both out for tomorrows game.  The Chiefs have a lot of injury problems, but most of their players will play through the pain.  KC may actually be better off with Hillis out of the game.  Charles will get more carries and he is easily the best player on the Chiefs.  Dorsey is a bigger loss, but they still have plenty of pass rushers to make up for his loss.
