Falcons Bucs Recap

Josh Freeman keeps winning games. The 2nd year QB squashed the Bucs 5 game losing streak agaisnt Atlanta, and showed again why Bucs fans are growing to love the leader of their up and coming squad. Freeman rushed for his 1st career TD as he broke a 3-3 deadlock in the 2nd quarter. The Bucs went into the half up 13-3, and only needed one more FG to preserve the lead at 16-13. Although he threw 2 picks Freeman is quickly gaining a reputation for leading his team to victories, no matter the situation. K Connor Barth should also be mentioned, considering his 3-3 on FG’s was a big reason for the Bucs win.

On defense Tampa Bay played very well, holding the Falcons to 1-4 in the Red Zone. This young group is starting to jell as a real strong point for the team. The Bucs sacked Matt Ryan 4 times causing 2 fumbles, and hit him many times throughout the game. If the defense of  Tampa can catch up to Freeman’s development, the Bucs will be a force to be reckoned with. Next week Tampa is at home against the Colts.
